Your ID check will be done on this port. If the check is done properly, your mail will be sent.
What Is Difference Between SMTP Port 25 and SMTP Port 587?
Both ports do the same work but there is a major distinction. In port number 25 ID check is not necessary. But in port number 587, ID check must be done, thus, spam mails are blocked.
